Historic and Biblical Christianity

While we are starting a new church, we certainly do not believe that we know better than everyone else, and we very much stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before. Resurrection Indiana is firmly committed to truth of the Bible as it has been read and understood by the Church throughout the centuries, particularly as it is expressed in the Apostle's Creed and the other historic creeds of the Church.

Pittsburgh Presbytery

Resurrection Indiana is a work of the Pittsburgh Presbytery, an association of churches and pastors primarily in southwestern Pennsylvania. The Presbytery provides financial and spiritual support, as well as oversight and accountability.

Presbyterian Church in America (PCA)

We are part of the Presbyterian Church in America, a denomination formed in 1973 to be "faithful to the Scriptures, true to the reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission. It now has nearly 400,000 members in 2,000 churches and is starting 40-50 churches each year. The PCA stands in the tradition of the Reformation, holding to the Westminster Confession of Faith as our standard of doctrine. For fuller information on the PCA and its beliefs, click here.
