All Things Renewed in Jesus…

Our vision is to see a new worshipping community that, captured by the love of Jesus in the gospel, will be characterized by love for Indiana. The word “Resurrection” refers to the source of our hope in Jesus, who died on the cross and rose again, bringing about the renewal of all things. Therefore, we desire to see a church community reflective of the Indiana community that welcomes all people, whether wealthy or poor, Indiana natives or newcomers, those like each other and those who are different. We want to be a place where people can grow in their faith and learn to live it out in the details of life, and a place where those with questions and doubts can bring them to God. We want to be a place where people are honest and the gospel of Jesus is real.

We recognize that there are already many good churches in Indiana, for which we are thankful. But we also know that in any community, new churches are needed. Less than 20 percent of people in Indiana regularly attend a worship service, and new churches often bring life to a community in a way that not only reaches new people, but also builds up existing churches. So we look forward to working with others as we proclaim Jesus to Indiana together.
